Jordan and Qatar are committed to strengthening their long-established relationship by enhancing cooperation across various sectors, according to Jordan’s Minister of Government Communication, Mohammad Momani. In anticipation of Jordan’s 80th Independence Day, Momani emphasized the robust connection between the two countries and their mutual aim to expand bilateral collaboration for the benefit of both nations.

Momani underscored the value Jordan places on its partnership with Qatar, emphasizing efforts to bolster ties in political, economic, and developmental areas. He noted that these collaborations are pivotal as both nations look to deepen their engagement and shared interests.

Reflecting on the journey since gaining independence, Momani highlighted Jordan’s unwavering support for key Arab causes, notably the Palestinian issue. He also pointed out Jordan’s continued commitment to protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, affirming the kingdom’s role in regional stability.

Marking Independence Day as a testament to Jordan’s resilience and stability in the face of regional challenges, Momani noted the nation’s ongoing efforts to fortify its constitutional and democratic institutions. He praised the country’s progress, despite adversities, in maintaining a stable and robust governance framework.

Further, Momani highlighted initiatives focused on reform and modernization, aimed at enhancing public services, fostering development, and improving the welfare of Jordanian citizens. These efforts, he said, are integral to the nation’s vision of progress and prosperity.
