The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero clarified that the target was a minor generator, reiterating that the UK’s energy infrastructure remains robust and secure. Meanwhile, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has not received any reports indicating that major power stations experienced outages due to the attack.
