Close on its heels, areas such as Barka, Damaa and Al Tayeen, and Fahud each saw temperatures reaching 49.4°C, with Qarn Al Alam following at 48.4°C.
While the heat dominated much of the country, Jabal Shams stood out as the coolest spot, recording a temperature of 11.1°C. Other cooler areas included Saiq with 16.8°C, Al Ashkharah at 18.0°C, Jabal Harem at 18.2°C, and Dhalkut, which registered 20.4°C. Such disparities highlight the diverse climatic conditions across Oman during this month.
Besides the extreme temperatures, the month was notable for its rainfall, predominantly concentrated in Dhofar and the mountainous regions. Dhalkut received the highest rainfall, measuring 55 mm. Jabal Shams followed with 18.4 mm, Saiq with 16.6 mm, Ibra at 12.2 mm, and Qayroun Hairiti with 11.2 mm of precipitation.
