Oman and India have engaged in discussions to enhance their economic collaboration, focusing on trade, investment, transport, and energy sectors. This dialogue occurred during the 15th session of the Strategic Consultation Group meeting held in New Delhi on Wednesday.
A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), a measure aimed at increasing bilateral trade and investment, while also paving the way for new opportunities in economic cooperation.
In addition to economic agreements, the discussions encompassed various sectors, including civil aviation, maritime transport, logistics, and energy, indicating a broad scope of potential cooperation. Both nations also addressed consular matters, bilateral agreements, and the latest regional developments.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen their economic ties and broaden cooperation across key sectors, reflecting a strategic intent to fortify their partnership further.
